I am currently trying to crash-draw pics for Negative to sign when I go see them next Friday, so I haven’t had time to draw a comic for tonight.

However, because my computer is full of random drawings, here’s a few for you

A few years ago, Negative was on tour in Germany, and being Finns, they partied much. At some point, Rumors leaked that they’d somehow ended up in a brothel and lost a few thousand euros cash. I imagined Tommi’s reaction (as he’s their manager) and drew this XD

Do note that Tommi’s arms are so long that he could touch below his knees without bending in two XD
(of course I have no idea if any of that happened, because it was Finnish press and it matters little to me if a story is true or not, as long as it’s decent comic material 8D)

Next week I’ll probably be posting other doodles, as well as, hopefully, photos of the signed pictures ;D

                          

Mikko actually played contrabass on the title “Beautiful” on the upcoming Apocalyptica album. In live shows, he’s actually been playing his part on a cello – so I guess he won

Middle spring. Apocalyptica is doing a photoshoot in the USA.

Somehow, Perttu manages to break his finger badly enough to be put to forced rest for 3 months, cancelling their opening for Metallica in Helsinki.
I’m still wondering how that happened.
(so does he and Paavo, in the comic)

This is a feature in two parts, one for Close Inc and this one for Eurobands. Their simultaneous publication on their respective site brought me the most visitors within 24 hours so far in the Closet’s 4-year history.

Among the featurees, 3 characters from worlds foreign to the Closet: Cat Casino (who, I learned later, actually DID sport a flaming sunburn at the time) from Swedish goth band Deathstars; Josey Strandman, from Finnish band To/Die/For; and Big Boy, Swedish/German musician featured on Eurobands (about who I can’t find anything anymore >_>).

Nice change, this time it’s not one of the league chasing them!

The idea came from Uniklubi’s Kaikki Mitä Mä Annoin video (displayed below), in which we see Teemu sitting in front of Antti’s drums, and said-drummer coming to get his drumsticks back. Then I saw a video of Christus playing drums during an evening at the Amadeus bar in Tampere, and it all made sense!

It was funny, but it needed something more, and Mikko holding on to his dear cello, running from Eicca, was perfect.

And a good chasing needed the sexy shoes.

By the way, please welcome Antti (M, from Uniklubi) and Jay in the closet. ^_^
