I kinda suspected it as well, but I didn’t really expect them to put the fish tail in the video. I think it might have been a bit more poetic not to, as it would have been a complete metaphor And I agree, it’s an awesome video

As for me, it was clear from the very first moment that the girl was a mermaid. I mean, the wet footprints she left behind, her aching feet and legs… The shock came at the end, showing she died. Their best video so far.
